Fairway Market Packs the Pantry for Jeneece Place

What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning out at Fairway's letting people know about Jeneece Place. It was a beautiful sunny day and we got to meet some very nice people. I would like to say thank you to Fairway's for their Pack the Pantry event for Jeneece Place. I think that it is totally awesome that they are helping out. I also want to thank Fairway customers for helping us keep Jeneece Place well stocked. You are so very, very awesome!

Public Open House January 22

The Queen Alexandra Foundation has just received the occupancy permit for Jeneece Place (#1 Hospital Way)! The furnishings are now being moved into the house to get ready for the opening, which includes public open house on January 22 from noon - 4pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Walk for World Peace Raises Money for Jeneece Place

Thanks for all of Gordie Dodd's very hard efforts on today's Walk for World Peace. Many showed up in support of this worthy cause and to raise some extra money for Jeneece Place. The day was perfect for a nice Sunday walk on Dallas Road. After the walk everyone got to enjoy a fun lunch. Thanks Gordie, QA volunteers and others who worked hard on this event, on a job well done!

Another 50 Thousand from BC Ferries

BC Ferries Jeneece Place Contribution At the BC Ferries golf Tournament yesterday at Bear Mountain Resort BC Ferries presented Jeneece another $50,000 dollar cheque for Jeneece Place. When Jeneece wasn't hitting balls on the golf course she could be seen driving the Premier around the grounds. I don't know if Premier Christie Clark had fun but Jeneece sure did.

Sailed in 10 legs the course provides inshore, offshore and overnight legs through some of the most stunning and challenging waters on the planet. Blast Sailing have commandeered this years race and is supporting Jeneece Place.

Groundbreaking Ceremonies for Jeneece Place

Jeneece and many of her supporters and political friends came out in the cold wet rain to celebrate the groundbreaking and the beginning of the build of Jeneece Place. "I am so excited to be at this point in the project and I am happy that the community is supporting me."
