Local Club Donates to Help our Gardens Grow

Michael Whitehead of the Container Garden Club of Victoria surprised QAF staff with a visit and generous donation of $1250 for the gardens of Jeneece Place.

Founded in 2006, the club unites people with an interest in growing plants for use in containers. The members decided to donate some of their excess funds to help a few local gardens grow. We are honoured the Jeneece Place gardens were recognized by a group with certified green thumbs on hand!

The timing of the donation couldn't have been better, since the Belmont students who were helping out in the gardens completed their volunteer work last week.

The funds will go a long way to keep our gardens beautiful!

How do the Jeneece Place gardens grow?

With community support and lots of heart, and volunteers to help us sow!
