Happy Birthday
Everybody had a wonderful time at Jeneece’s big 16th birthday bash. Jeneece and her friends had a fantastic time in LA Limo’s newest 12 seater vehicle. ”The limo is totally Awesome!” They traveled around in style during the afternoon before the party and after as well.
The Empress was absolutely phenomenal, they rolled out the red carpet for Jeneece. The manager of the Empress told me that they have only rolled out the red carpet 3 times and once was for the Queen. The royal treatment was not just for Jeneece’s appearance to the Empress but all throughout the evening and a suite at the Empress for the night, plus breakfast left us feeling rather spoiled and pampered.
Drivewise gave Jeneece a full package of driving instruction to start of her driving years safely. We cannot express how grateful and re leaved we are that drive wise will be driving with Jeneece and not mom and dad. Thank you so much for making our lives a bit less stressful over this coming year.
We had very special guests come from Vancouver from Variety, The Children’s Charity to send best wishes to Jeneece on her special day and they also made an announcement, that Jeneece will be on this years telethon and that Variety will bring its support to Jeneece Place and help Jeneece realize her new dream. Thank you for coming and supporting us George, Doug and Keri.
The Island University Culinary Arts Program made Jeneece’s huge birthday cake. The topper was a pair of sugar dolphins. The cake was the sensation of the evening, other than Jeneece, herself.
We would also love to thank the MLA’s, mayors of Victoria and View Royal, media, individuals and friends who came out to share in Jeneece’s very special day.
Thrifty Foods kindly supplied the 10 cakes for the cake walk which was just a hoot. People who participated almost needed safety gear to attempt to lunge at their chairs.
Premier G. Campbell had to cancel last minute due to an engagement in Vancouver but sent over a special birthday card and gift for Jeneece. We would like to take this time to say thank you so much for the gift.
Jack Knox… you rock! Jack looked very graceful and colorful in Pace’s number Popular! The Pace Kids from Sooke School District61 entertained the crowd with several numbers carefully chosen by Jeneece herself. Jeneece even played guitar in “Lean on Me”. We would also like to thank Sandy Webster Worthy and the Pace kids for the great entertainment. Jack your article on Jeneece was superb!
None of this would have been even possible without the help of some very special people, The QA Foundation, Telus and The Jeneece Edroff Society put this very special event together and it was a lot of work. To all of you who helped out we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Lastly, Dianne Kanstrup worked very hard with the Empress to coordinate all of this event. You are a very special and true friend.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
The Edroffs
